Pasta Piselli (Pasta and Peas)
This recipe is perfect for a busy mom (or dad) who wants to feed their little ones a healthy, nutritious and delicious meal that's easy to make. Does such a meal even exist?! Yes, I know that you just thought of that just now, but yes, it does. Pasta and peas with cheese is the easiest dish you'll ever make that I'm sure will be a hit for your family. Here's what you'll need:
Ingredients:
100g smoked pancetta chopped into small cubes ( if you don't have pancetta, bacon will do)
1 small onion, chopped
200 g peas (or more )
100 grams spaghetti broken into 2 inches
2 cups water
Parmesan cheese
Olive oil
Pepper
Instructions:
1. Chop the onion.
2. Put a small amount of olive oil into a pan
3. Add the onion and fry until soft, then add the smoked pancetta
4. Add two cups of water
5. Boil the peas for about 15-20 minutes. If the water gets too low, add 1 cup of water
6. Add the broken spaghettti and cook until the spaghetti until al dente ( about 8-10 minutes)
7. Add shredded parmesan cheese
8. Serve with additional parmesan cheese
